I am writing this review while my heart is still pounding. Kiersten Modglin continues to write book after book with the same effect! This is the first book of hers that I read that took me until 50% or so to form a theory. But rest assured, there was no “slow burn” here. Readers will know for certainty that something isn’t right with Jaicey, her family, her friend, the new boyfriend. But what? Just wait for it….
Once again, the characters are written so well. The plot is so intricate, the unraveling of it all is perfect! I love how this book, like her others, is intense, fast paced, and thrilling!
You won’t believe Jaicey’s story. You just won’t believe it. I can’t say more. I am not usually at a loss for words. I usually have a million things to say to the characters themselves. This one… 😱

Derek- What exactly is your connection to Jaice? There seems to be a past?
Brayden- where did you come from? What makes you seem suspicious of something one minute and boyfriend of the year the next?

When the plot thickens beyond belief… right at about 63%, you will read furiously to the end…
