Mary Kubica is one of a rare breed of authors who writes with a level of patience and anticipation that keeps building as the story unravels but all along she gives away small bits of evidence that keep the reader guessing. She is the QUEEN of epilogue “slam dunks!”

Every Last Lie is no different. After reading “Good Girl” and experiencing the epilogue shock factor…we KNEW she was going to be an author that we had to read again and again!
Mary Kubica has created this cast of characters that seem so real, so “everyday” average. Nick, Clara, Maisy, Felix… a very “normal” family doing their normal thing! Nick, a dentist, Clara just having a newborn, Maisy loves to dance and play candy crush. I mean they sound like a family we all know!
But as you can expect when you read a Mary Kubica book, NOTHING is what it seems! The tangled web of lies that have been told, the unexpected truths that are revealed and the way she can tie it all together in the LAST pages of her book is truly amazing!
