Ahhhh! Where to begin with this story?? First, we loved how the story begins so realistically… a man, a woman, a divorce, custody issues, and new relationships. Eric’s job as the chief psychiatrist has great challenges and he meets many different people. Some of them he can relate to. He also has anxiety issues and sought the help of a doctor.

As he begins to help Max and learns about some of the things Max is dealing with, strange things begin happening. When a girl is murdered and Max is missing, Eric feels like he has to find Max to help ensure his safety. But as the plot unfolds, we quickly learned that you can’t trust anyone in this story. Several plot twists later, you won’t know who is guilty and who is sane!

The end will have your mind spinning! We LOVED THIS STORY! We enjoy Lisa Scottoline’s work and look forward to reading more!
