This book will grab a hold of your soul from page one! The story starts out with a heart racing scene between two people on the streets of NYC whose lives come crashing together and forever altered. Little did Lowen and Jefferey know that they were on the way to the same meeting that fateful morning. What happens on the following pages will have you literally gasping for air! Like “hand over mouth, I don’t want to scream out loud and wake everyone around me” kind of gasping!

It isn’t the general plot idea that will have you feeling like your eyes will burn holes through the pages as you read. Generally, the storyline was not “omg I’ve never read a story like it”. (Struggling author gets big chance at a new beginning… yadda yadda)

HOWEVER…it’s the way Colleen Hoover weaves together the believable yet unbelievable events that tie the characters together along with the “in your face” way she unravels the plot will have you breathless at every turn of the page.

I started this book at 10pm and read until I couldn’t pry my eyes open any longer (about 3am). I was about 65% done when I woke the next morning and devoured the rest in a few hours! One of the fastest books I’ve ever read. I DID NOT WANT TO PUT IT DOWN!
