Review

This book started strong! Loved the opening scene and once again Freida McFadden made me feel like I was watching the story unfold in real time. Abby and Sam seem like so many other couples trying unsuccessfully to have a child before feeling too old to parent. Just as adoption seemed imminent… like “any day-it’s happening-my co-workers threw me a baby shower” imminent … Sam received a life changing phone call. Devastated, Sam and Abby try to move on. Until…

Monica comes to their rescue. Could it be happening? It seems too good to be true! Welp… you know what they say about something being too good to be true! I predict readers will have trouble putting this book down. It is fast paced with layers of characters and plot twists. The ending is shocking and left me gasping. Awesome!

This book lives up to its many “addictive thriller” reviews. I read it furiously and finished it in a matter of hours. Freida McFadden is turning out to be a Must Read author in my list!
