But then, privileged young women begin to go missing without explanation, and a series of brutal slayings shocks the entire ship. The strange and disturbing influence of the Moonlight Carnival pervades the decks as the murders grow ever more freakish, with nowhere to escape except the unforgiving sea. OK, so if you have been following my reviews on this series you will know that I love it! Everything from the beautiful artwork on the cover, the entertaining and brilliant characters, to the fascinating and wonderful storyline and time placements. This series has been everything I love in a story.

Escaping From Houdini, the third book, is no exception. This time we are on a boat bound for the America’s with Houdini and his crew as the entertainment. Fun right? Until people start dying and it falls on Audrey Rose Wadsworth and Sir Thomas Cresswell to figure out who and why. Even though I haven’t been as big a fan of Houdini as I have been of Jack the Ripper stories and Dracula stories, I am still fascinated and the story was still wonderfully entertaining and obviously I can not wait for the next one!!
